Only 1 week of this semester left!... yay...(しょんぼり) next week is going to be hard, some of my friends from japan are going to be leaving at the end of next week. It already feels pretty crushing tbh. Atleast I can listen to music to ignore the sads when I need to. Someday I will see them again, and I plan to keep in contact with them over instagram so there is that at the very least. I've had quite a few good memories since the start of this semester, and I hope to meet more exchange students even though I know its going to crush me every time they leave, not that my current friends could be replaced. I'm going to try and hang out with my friends who are here as much as can without it getting in the way of finals and studying. Right now I am a bit sick, so hopefully I will feel better by monday so I can have lunch with one of them again. This semester has overall been great which will probably make next semester feel bad in comparison, but I'll manage. At the very least, with one of my friends leaving there will be less going on in the back of my head, even though I value their friendship it can be difficult sometimes. Break should be fun probably, I have a few things I have planned for it. I also plan to be on the Japanese grindset over break, it has become my goal to be able to keep up with my Japanese friends in conversation by the next time that I see them, which will be in a bit over a year and a half. 頑張るよ! 未来は時々日本語でブログに多分書くよでも今日本語はちょっと難しいだよ 笑
Today was Thanksgiving which was pretty hype. Had a lot of good food like my dads smoked turkey, my grandma's deviled eggs and stuffing, my other grandma's sweet potato casserole, my aunt's apple crisp and more I also got to do a lot of cooking which was exciting, like how I made mashed potatoes and corn casserole. Today was food comas all around for my family. Even my dog joined in the coma lol.
Hello! This is my first blog entry, I have never run a blog before so we will see how well I do at this lol. It's thanksgiving break and I'm happy to be home for the break, I'm glad to be able to spend time with my family and get away from doing schoolwork for a little bit. it has been very nice being able to work on things like this website which I have planned to work on for so long. College life has been great overall. I love how easy it is to meet people and become good friends. Japanese has been my key to making friends this semester. I should probably branch out but it is very nice having something that helps me connect with people involving something that isnt tech related. Dont get me wrong, I love hanging out with my fellow tech nerds, but also life is all about balance. Through this I've done tons of fun things that I otherwise wouldnt have, like seeing the aurora borealis, going ice skating, doing japanese karaoke with a group, cooking with others, etc.
Woag you read everything, pretty radical broski
